Sound Transit CEO Joni Earl on medical leave

Joni Earl, the chief executive officer of Sound Transit, has suffered a brain injury. She recently completed surgery for an injury from a blood vessel leakage on the brain.

The Sound Transit Board has appointed Sound Transit Deputy CEO Mike Harbour as acting CEO while Earl continues her medical leave.

Harbour, according to a press release, has been Deputy CEO since October of 2012.
