Superintendent contract is extended

June 18, 2014

Following completion of an annual evaluation, the Puyallup School District Board unanimously agreed to extend Superintendent Tim Yeomans’ contract one year through 2017. This adds an additional year to the original three-year contract.

Yeomans has served in the position since July 2012.

“Dr. Yeomans brings his ‘A’ game in leading the Puyallup School District,” said Puyallup School Board president Chris Ihrig. “He continues to impress with his ability to build an educational culture of engagement, collaboration, innovation, results and excellence.”

The district is the ninth largest in Washington state, serving more than 20,500 students.
