Dogs and their owners can get pampered

Pierce County Parks and Recreation invites dogs and their owners to enjoy a walk along the forested Nathan Chapman Trail, between Heritage Recreation Center and South Hill Park, 14201 86th Ave. E. on South Hill, part of the annual Dog Dayz of Summer event.

Festivities begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 28 and include throughout the day, agility demonstrations, fly ball, vendors and more.

Those attending are encouraged to pre-register by tomorrow (June 19) for a fee of $15. The day-of-event fee is $20. For more information, call 253-798-4091.
