Library to host Artist Trust organization

May 21, 2014

Seasoned and beginning artists of east Pierce County will have an opportunity at the Puyallup Library to learn about Artist Trust, a nonprofit organization founded 25 years ago with the sole mission of supporting and encouraging artists of all disciplines.

From noon-1 p.m. at the library on Monday, June 2, Dayton Knipher, an Artist Trust At Large speaker, will teach attendees about the resources offered, including grants, career training, tips, and exhibition and performance opportunities.

The organization has invested more than $10 million in Washington state. In 2014, the group awarded more than $280,000 in grant dollars to 105 artists.

The library program is free. For more information and to RSVP, email
