Library installs new checkout technology

May 7, 2014

The Puyallup Public Library is in the process of implementing new technology that will allow people to check out items faster and with more privacy.

Library users can expect less time waiting in line, more personal attention from library staff members and faster recirculation of returned items.

Installation began April 28. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration is scheduled this month.
