Puyallup invites public to forums on housing

April 30, 2014

The city of Puyallup is proceeding with revisions to the housing element, part of the 2015 comprehensive plan update.

The public has the option of attending one of three one-hour focus group meetings to provide comments. Meetings will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on June 3 at the Mel Korum YMCA, from 2-3 p.m. on June 4 at the Puyallup Public Library and from 7-8 p.m. on June 5 at Fruitland Elementary School.

Attending the meeting does not require an RSVP. If people wish to RSVP, they can email the city at ourfuture@ci.puyallup.wa.us. Reservations for child care can also be made for the June 5 meeting by emailing the same address no later than May 23.

The Puyallup Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
