Vicki Egeland, the student council adviser at Wildwood Elementary School, coordinated a school-wide response last week for students of Darrington Elementary School who have been affected by the deadly mudslide in Oso.

Egeland has a friend who is the librarian at the Darrington school.

Wildwood students created handmade greeting cards last Friday, hoping to inspire those who attend the Darrington school, which lost a custodian and two students in the mudslide.
