Talent show to benefit cancer patient

February 19, 2014

The Sumner High School ASB will host the eighth annual Benefit Night Talent Show at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Sumner High School Performing Arts Center.

A dinner auction will be held tonight at 6 p.m. in the Sumner High School commons.

It will include a catered event, silent and live auction. Tickets for the dinner are $20 and can be purchased at the school. Talent show tickets are $8 and will be available at the door.

All proceeds will benefit Darren Painter, a resident in the Sumner School District who was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer last June.

The program is held annually to benefit a member of the community.
