The Sumner Cemetery, 12324 Valley Ave. E., was vandalized last week.

Sumner Police reported more than 80 headstones were vandalized late Thursday night and into early Friday morning. Some antique granite stones were tipped over, and others were carried to other areas of the cemetery.

Sumner Shops and Parks crews helped cemetery staff members restore the headstones on Friday.
