ThE HERALDNovember 21, 2013

A third, and what is believed to be a final arrest, was made by the Puyallup Police Department's Special Investigations Unit on Nov. 20 related to a series of window smashing incidents that occurred Nov. 7-9.

Arrested on Nov. 20 was a 19-year-old male suspect from Puyallup. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail on multiple counts of felony malicious mischief.

Following a citizen-provided tip on Nov. 11 and subsequent video footage received of the incidents on Nov. 15, the SIU made arrests of the first two suspects at a Puyallup residence.

A 22-year-old female and a 24-year-old male were arrested on Nov. 15. They were also booked into the Pierce County Jail later that day and on Nov. 18 were arraigned in Pierce County Superior Court for multiple counts of felony malicious mischief.

The SIU has determined over the three nights there were just shy of 80 car mirror and/or windows smashing incidents.

Following the arrest of the third suspect, SIU announced all suspects were accounted for and  no additional arrests were anticipated.
