Heather Shadko, a candidate for Puyallup City Council, District 2, would be a breath of fresh air to the current Puyallup City Council. She is energetic, enthusiastic and has a strong commitment to the city she and her family have grown to love.
Shadko and her family came from the Midwest 13 years ago while her husband was still in the military. By the time he retired, they had grown to love Puyallup and chose to remain in the area.
Shadko has served on the Puyallup Public Library board for the past 10 years and has been a member of the city Planning Commission for the past four years. She has the background to become an effective city council member.
I urge you to vote for Shadko. She would bring a much-needed new voice to the current council.
