Glacier View named School of Distinction

Tacoma News TribuneOctober 16, 2013

Glacier View Junior High School has been named a School of Distinction for being among the top 5 percent of schools statewide that have demonstrated sustained improvement in reading and math. It is the third consecutive year the Puyallup school has been recognized.

The Puyallup School District Board of Directors will highlight the achievement during its meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 21 at Ballou Junior High School, 9916 136th St. E. Out of 99 schools statewide to receive the achievement, Glacier View counts among 16 junior high or middle schools that have earned the award more than once.
