The Puyallup brach of 1st Security Bank will host a shredding and electronic waste recycling day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3
In order to reduce identify theft crimes, the branch is encouraging the public to bring their paper documents and/or electronic items that they are no longer using.
People are allowed to bring up to 10 boxes of paper documents for shredding and up to 10 of the following electronic items (per person) to be recycled free of charge. Those items include TVs, computer monitors, laptops and cell phones. A list of acceptable items is available on the bank's website, www.fsbwa.com.
Shredding and recycling is on a first-come, first-served basis until the truck is full.
The Puyallup branch is located at 307 W. Stewart St.
