Rogers Class of 1975 hosting 35-year reunion

The Rogers High School Class of 1975 will be holding its 35-year reunion from 5-10 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11.

The event will take place at Gary Tucci’s auto museum, located at 10004 162nd St. Ct. E. in South Hill. The cost to attend is $20 per person and must be paid in advance.

Rogers Class of 1980 holding 30-year reunion

The Rogers High School Class of 1980’s 30-year reunion will be held at Puyallup’s Liberty Theater at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 24.

A mixer event for the class will take place at the Mazatlan restaurant, 13024 Meridian East in South Hill, at 8 p.m. on July 23.

Tickets for the reunion cost $65 per person or $120 per couple. Tickets for the mixer cost $15 apiece but are part of the reunion costs if purchased together. Credit card payments are accepted by phone at 253-864-8116.

Puyallup High Class of 1970 reuniting Sept. 11

The Puyallup High School Class of 1970 will be holding its 40-year reunion at High Cedars Golf Club in Orting on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The event begins with a social hour from 5-7 p.m., with dinner to follow. The golf club is located at 14604 149th St. Ct. E.

Two-mile walk, run to benefit needy students

The first Annie Boulet 2 Miler, a walk/run named in honor of a late Puyallup School District teacher, will take place from 3-6 p.m., Thursday, June 10, at Puyallup’s Sparks Stadium.

The event is untimed and is organized by the Kiwanis Club of Daffodil Valley, Ferrucci Junior High School and the school district. Proceeds go to the Saul Haas Fund, which assists low-income and homeless students in Puyallup schools.

Karshner Museum anniversary is June 10

The public is invited to the Karshner Museum’s 80th anniversary celebration from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 10. The museum is located at 309 Fourth St. N.E. in Puyallup.

The anniversary celebration will include music and refreshments in the style of the 1930s. Guests are encouraged to wear period attire to this free event, which will likely include many former students from Stewart Elementary School.

Puyallup library hosting fishbowl art class

Children of all ages are invited to join art teacher Kim Zeiger as she gives a lesson on three-dimensional fishbowl drawings.
