Families needed to host international students

Pierce College is seeking host families for several international students coming to the area this academic year.

Most students are college-age but may be older or younger. Students have basic to advanced English skills and will need their host families to acclimatize them to American culture while they study at Pierce College.

Host families receive a monthly reimbursement for expenses. Host families must provide the student with meals and a furnished bedroom and must also live within a short commute of Pierce College’s Puyallup or Lakewood campuses.

For more information about hosting a student, contact Angela Parisotto at 253-964-6593.
